The Backstory:

This print takes us back to the 23rd of December, 1960, capturing the essence of one of history's most influential figures - former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

He went home to Chartwell for Christmas that day. Determined  and defiant he walked bravely to the front door of his Hyde Park Gate home. Pausing for a few moments on the front step of his home, he smiled and waved and acknowledgment to the roars of "Happy Christmas" the, head-up, cigar in his hand, he walked to the watiting car.

This image serves as a reminder of Churchill's personal triumphs but also symbolizes hope for humanity in times when strong leadership is needed most.
