Story documentation on the verso
The Backstory: After a short affair with the film world ("Tommy" by Ken Russel), Tina Turner has come back to her first love: singing.
She started in the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas 1977 and is then touring with her own band playing tunes like „Ain't It Funny How Time Slips Away“ and „Watch Closely Now,“ tempering her image so that her sexuality is touched with an element of elegance, a sense of knowing who she is. It’s a whole new beginning for Tina Turner and she becomes famous for non-stop, high-energy shows that leave her audience breathless.
